to research fast moving images, animation or digital media design and explore who are the pioneers , what are the current trends and what does the future hold?

Who are the pioneers?

Walt Disney is one of the pioneers of animation. He created one of the most recognise brand in the World and the classic cartoon forever which is Mick Mouse. Firstly, he produce silent cartoon it's called "Plane Crazy". It was also a first time that Micky Mouse was launched. Secondly, He was the first animator who add sound into the cartoon. The outstanding point of his work is story design and cartoon characters. He produced animation from his drawing. It is not similar at this moment because most of animators design their work by a computer.

What are the current trends?

In 1986, Steve Jobs bought the computer graphic of Lucusfilm Ltd and established new animation studio which is Pixar. That was beginning of current animation trend. At first, Pixar have been done only short animation film for several years.In 1995, the first big film of pixar was launched  which is Toy story and after that Pixar created a lot of animation film such as Monster Inc, Wall-E, Cars and Up.But they have been creating short film until now.They bring the new standard of moving images to the animation industry. They made them from computer animation programme. All of their animation film are 3D film and they also change the way of animation from 2D to be 3D film.

What does the future hold?

In 2009, David Cameron created new level of moving images by using actors and animation combine them together.The film is called Avatar. This film turn to new main stream of animation industry and a new high technology becomes important equipment in the way of producing and quality of images is becoming strength in the industry. This is moving images in the future is going to be.
